Kris Owen is passionate about ex-racing Greyhounds and has been actively fundraising and helping to raise the profile of the breed for many years. She notices that they are perceived as high energy dogs with a high prey drive when nothing could be further from the truth in most cases.
Her published book the 'A La Bark Baking' cook book contains over 30 recipes for fun and healthy biscuits, training treats, meatloaves and bakes, all are veterinary approved and taste tested on many breeds of dogs.
She lives in Essex with her partner Marc and her two big ex-racing greyhounds Wagger 12yrs and Charlie 7yrs.
