Richard Allport graduated as a vet in 1973 and began using natural therapies for pets in 1983. He has over 30 years of experience in using acupuncture, herbal medicine, homoeopathy and nutritional advice to help pets.He has patients overseas and in the UK. At his UK veterinary centre Richard and his associates offer a wide range of natural treatments for pets from qualified and experienced therapists. Open since 1996, the centre was one of the first practices in the UK to specialise purely in natural therapies for pets.
Richard is the author of several books on the subject of natural veterinary medicine and a regular contributor to several magazines and the UK media.
Richard has two Bedlington Terriers, Jamjar and Frankie.
