Claudia Fugazza is a researcher in Ethology at the University of Budapest. Her specialism is in social learning and imitation in dogs. Previous studies had shown that this is something dogs are predisposed to do and Claudia's team wondered if this skill could be utilised as a training technique.

Since then, Claudia has devised a set of protocols for this method which have been shown to be remarkably effective.
