Not all hotels are dog friendly and will give a range of reasons why they prefer not to take dogs. However, it can be a barrier to people choosing to go and stay in a hotel if they can't take their dog with them.

Mark Lammiman, of Ston Easton Park Hotel, has been happy to welcome dogs from the moment it opened. In this video he explains why it can not only enhance the stay for dog owners and non-dog owners alike but why it makes sound financial sense for the hotel.
