Puppies, like human babies, learn incredibly quickly. By the time the new owner collects their puppy, typically at about 8 weeks, there is quite a lot of training that could have taken place, but many breeders don't undertake training of the puppies they sell.

In this video, Dr Ian Dunbar outlines what he feels breeders should do to get the puppy and the new owner off to a good start.
