Philippa Sjoberg is a wheelchair user with an assistance dog, Jack. Before he came to her, he received specialist training with Canine Partners to help Philippa with daily chores, but his new home had a number of pet dogs too.

In this video, Philippa tells us how the introduction between the dogs was carefully managed to ensure they got off to a good start and how she has maintained a good relationship between them.

It has obviously been important that she has a good relationship between herself and each of the dogs, too, especially as Jack has his working role. To a large extent this has been achieved by recognising the differences between the dogs and devoting one-to-one quality time with each of them.
