Betty Judge has been importing Portuguese Podengos for over 10 years. Podengos come in three different sizes but only miniature ones are recognised by The Kennel Club in the UK. However, even miniature ones can come in quite a wide range of sizes. They also come in two coat types: smooth and wire-haired.

Betty tells us about the origin of the breed. They are often mistaken for a terrier but are actually a hunting hound. She also tells us what they are like to live with: what their character is like, how much exercise and grooming they need, what they are like to train and about any health issues. Betty has obviously been won over and wouldn't be without them.
